Marshall Memorial United Church Banquet Hall
The Church hall is ideal for receptions. We allow liquor licenses provided that they have a smart serve bar tender and third party liability insurance. It seats 160 people - with less than that there is room for a dance floor. The tables are round and the chairs are comfortable. We are handicapped accessible and our kitchen is state of the art. There is a sound system in the hall for speeches. They can either bring in their own caterer or we will provide one for them. Our rental rates are very competitive! There is lots of parking available and we are easily reached off the 403.

Reverend Dr. Robin Wilkie has been in the ministry for over 25 years and takes great joy in helping people plan a meaningful service for their wedding. His philosophy is to make this time as hassle free as possible. People sometimes become stresses as a result of all the decisions they must make around this special day. Rev. Dr. Robin does his best to alleviate this stress by spending a lot of time with engaged couples to ensure their ceremony is perfect..

He is free on weekends or evenings, whichever is more convenient, to meet with you and get acquainted.

"The first meeting takes about an hour. During that time we think about all the things that you need to know from my perspective. You don't need to make any decisions but it helps to be prepared for what lies ahead.
At the second meeting we will discuss the choices that you have made for your wedding service and plan for the rehearsal. Of course, if you have any questions, I'm only a phone call away.

The wedding service that I use offers a variety of choices for each item in the service. Every wedding service is unique, depending on the choices a couple makes. I am happy to accommodate a poem or reading that has special meaning to you. Sometimes couples like to write their own vows. In the first meeting we talk about all of that.

I have worked closely with Michelle Bates to plan a pre-marriage prparation course. This course covers almost everything a couple needs to talk about before they are actually married. The beauty of our course is that it can be done in the privacy of your own home and you can work on it at your own pace. It is comprehensive in scope and most couples thoroughly enjoy discovering new things about their prospective spouse. It is followed up with a one-hour meeting with Michelle -- which is time well spent.

I am available to do a wedding in the location of your choice and there are some options that I can recommend."
